at Columbia Mall.

 

 The Elementary Art Show is a yearly event in the Grand Forks community. The artwork created in elementary classrooms of Grand Forks Public Schools and several private schools in the Greater Grand Forks area is exhibited; this year more than 3,600 artworks will be displayed. ArtWise creates an exhibition place, a community forum and a festival atmosphere where families can gather and celebrate their children. The art show is a community event that requires a wide range of support; we have several demonstrators and performers each day of the event.

The 2019 art show will be at the Columbia Mall; the artwork will be exhibited for a week, March 19-26, 2019. The art show festival will be March 19-21 4- 8 pm and on March 23rd 10 am - 2 pm with performances, artists demos and activities. 

​

The Art Show is also where the annual Kids Art Calendar and our ABC Lease artwork is chosen. The impact of the Art Show can be seen throughout the community of Greater Grand Forks through these programs. This event brings together volunteers from around the community from the fire department to UND volunteer groups to the parents and teachers in the school district. More than 200 community volunteers help plan, develop, and produce Art Show activities. We come together to bring about a festival event that supports and celebrates children’s creativity, hard work and learning.
